 About Library

Library of S.S.S.Pharmacy College Zundal is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of Books, Journals, CD Rom, and Online Databases. The Library collection includes the core subjects of university-run course such as B.PHARM, M.PHARM and PHARM.D The library is having a collection of more than 10612 books, 30 print journals, and magazines. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using a SOUL3.0 that is being maintained and updated regularly. Library collection can also be searched through Web OPAC. The library is fully Wi-Fi enabled and has a well-established cyber library with 10 networked PC connected with LAN which help users to access electronic resources. It has been catering to the needs of the Students, Research Scholar, and Faculty members of the S.S.S.Pharmacy College Zundal. The seating capacity of the Library is more than 50 users at a time. The library services are open to the College staff and students.

 Library was established with the Degree and Diploma Pharmacy College in 2005. It has expanded in terms of available resources and facility for Reading the Pharmacy books, magazines and Journals. Here the information highlighting our library.

Total library room a 297.17 Sg.Mt., Stack Room Area(01) 76 sg.mt., Reading Room Area (02) 134.27 sg.mt., Faculty Room Area(03) 86.9 Sg.Mt.

Every year library invests Rs. 91812/- as renewal fees for 20 national and 10 international journals. We also have the 223 Bind volumes journals for reference and the 50 CD for books.

Library is Computer based program the SOUL software has been installed to computerize the database of books.

Issue-return of books is carried out with barcode system for students and faculty.

Library provide reprography services, user services and reference services to the students and faculty.

Currently 60 sitting facility is available in reading room for students and 3 news papers Available. No separate room for faculty members.we also have sitting facility in stacking area for reference.
